Quinault Loop

Quinault Loop Professional Review and Guide

"This is a great little run that you can do while your non-running friends and family tour the half-mile Quinault Rain Forest Nature Trail.

The Quinault Rain Forest trails have fewer tourists than the better-known Hoh trails, but the lower Quinault River Valley gets 145 inches of rain per year making it a true temperate rain forest. Enjoy the lovely green curtains of moss in the old-growth forest of Western red cedars, Western hemlocks, Douglas firs, and Sitka spruce on this gently rolling trail."

The beginning of trail was a little hard to find. It's by the info board across from the rest rooms. This trail has a lot of variety. From waterfalls and lakes to rainforests. Towards the end we had to climb over/around some fallen trees, but this was easily done.
