Hoquiam River East and West Forks

Hoquiam River: East and West Forks Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"The Hoquiam River proper, only 2.5 miles long, is totally urban; but at the point where it splits into East and West Forks, it becomes almost rural—nearly primitive.

Both forks have lives and accesses of their own, as they loop widely back and forth in sinuous curves through marshy lands that protect the rivers from greater development. They offer peaceful paddling on tidal waters that are disturbed only by such commercial activities as log storage (more historical than current) and sports fishing."
