Lyman Lake and Suiattle Pass

Lyman Lake and Suiattle Pass Professional Review and Guide

"This trail barely intersects the PCT, but it was too good to leave out. You could continue out Agnes Creek along the PCT. If you don’t have time to do it as a thru-hike, an overnight to Lyman Lake is just as spectacular, and there is plenty to explore from camp. If you are looking for a shorter hike or have children with you, Hart Lake is only 4 miles from Holden Village and is a great, though popular, option.

The trail begins from the remote Lutheran village of Holden. Exploration of this area began back in 1877, when railroad companies sent surveyors to find a route through the Central Cascades. Obviously, they didn’t find one, but their journey led to an influx of prospectors in search of mining claims."
