Noble Knob Trail

Noble Knob Trail Professional Review and Guide

"A mostly level walk through lovely subalpine parkland offers children chances to see the site of an old fire lookout, to pick berries, and to look down on small alpine ponds just their size. The beginning of the trail was once a road, so it is wide and comfortable walking for families.

This trail has become a fashionable route for mountain bikers who like to pedal up the Corral Pass road and then make a loop trip out on another road. It has even been listed in a mountain biking book, so be prepared for them. From the summit children can pretend they are lookouts themselves and survey snags, stumps, snowfields, lakes, and, over them all, mighty Mount Rainier."
