Berkeley Park Trail

Berkeley Park Trail Professional Review and Guide

"A mild descent leads to a lovely mountain meadow brimming with wildflowers and clear streams. The trail goes down a hill and toward a valley for 1. 1 miles. At this point the Northern Loop Trail goes right (north). Take this trail, entering the meadow below.

This gap between Skyscraper Mountain to the west and Mount Fremont to the east is named Berkeley Park. Pink flowers line the creek that meanders beside you. If you look behind you (south), you can see Burroughs Mountain and Mount Rainier. Take your time appreciating the beauty of a subalpine meadow, because you soon leave it and enter the woods."
