Friends Landing Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Leisurely wander around Lake Quigg in the tidal-influenced Chehalis River Surge Plain on a level paved trail perfect for hikers of all ages and abilities. Once the site of a gravel-mining operation, Friends Landing is now a 152-acre camping and nature park. In 2014, the Port of Grays Harbor took over managing the property.

Head clockwise on the paved trail, briefly paralleling the park road before skirting the park’s campground and coming to Lake Quigg. Pass a floating dock and the first of several boardwalks and interpretive signs."
