Johnson Ridge

Johnson Ridge Professional Review and Guide

"Johnson Ridge is an undulating steep-sided ridge that culminates in 6,700-foot Johnson Mountain. A trip up the ridge rewards the climber with panoramic views of the North-Central Cascades.

It is not necessary to reach Johnson Mountain to benefit from this tour—travel as far as you like, take a few runs, then ride the roller coaster back to the jump-off point. Difficulties: High avalanche potential; not recommended for snowboarders; permit/fee area."
