Twin Sisters Trail 980, Deep Creek Campground to Deep Professional Review and Guide
"Hike downhill through highly diversified old-growth forest, checking out the elk tracks and looking for the abundant grouse, as well as other forest dwellers, as you stroll along. As you leave the road, at 4, 280 feet elevation, the trail heads northeast.
In a few yards the trail appears to fork. Bear left here, staying on the main trail. Alaska cedar, hemlock, true firs, and a few western white pines, of varying ages, line the route as you begin your gradual descent. Beneath the tall timber, huckleberry bushes, beargrass and white-flowered rhododendrons add to the mix of flora."
