Hoh River Rain Forest Trail

Hoh River Rain Forest Trail Professional Review and Guide

"The world-famous rain forest is accessible most of the year. Children will love seeing the huge Roosevelt elk, which through their browsing and grazing keep the forest floor cropped of undergrowth and looking park-like.

The chances of seeing them are best in late fall and winter, when herds are down in the valley and most tourists are gone, but one resident band can be seen even in busy summer months. The Hoh River trail extends 17 miles, all the way to the edge of the Blue Glacier on Mount Olympus; however, families can amply savor the beauty of the rain forest in the 3 miles to the Mount Tom Creek trail junction."

Very fun trip. The Hall of Moss was definitely sweet. I would recommend this trip to anyone.

Lots of cool trees, views, and hanging mosses here (unless that was a nearby trail) The river was nice to walk along
