Tokul Creek

Tokul Creek Professional Review and Guide

"Moderate climbs and more joy-inducing descents than Starbucks has brews and blends, Tokul Creek is a sweet area for after-school/work riding. Cyclists departing from Seattle and the East Side can reach the parking lot in forty-five minutes and the trailhead in an hour by driving out on I–90.

Originally constructed by local equestrians the Tokul Creek Trail network cuts through a thick canopy of second-growth fir, cedar, cottonwood, and big-leaf and vine maples, blackberries, huckleberries, and spring gold. The only downside to this area is that the descents are short, requiring riders to make the same climb more than once. In addition, on the more popular equestrian routes, the singletrack can be a bit chewed up at times. Trail surface: Forest roads, dual track, and singletrack."
