Lion Rock Climb

Lion Rock Climb Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Here’s a ride that’s sure to put a sting in your legs. (And lungs. And heart.) Though not as long as climbs to Paradise on Mount Rainier or Hurricane Ridge outside Port Angeles, this
route’s featured ascent is signi?cantly steeper.

In just 6 miles, it gains more than 2600 feet elevation. By comparison, the west approach to Paradise takes about 11 miles to gain as much elevation. Clearly, this is not a climb for the faint of heart."
