This self-guiding nature trail begins at the far end of the Graves Creek Campground loop. More interesting for its diversity of forest types than for ancient trees, this 1-mile loop traverses old river terraces and abandoned channels as it wanders the alluvial floodplain of the Quinault River. Here the loop is described in a counterclockwise direction.
