Western Pasyten - Ross Lake Loop Backpacking

Western Pasyten - Ross Lake Loop (Backpacking) Professional Review and Guide

"The vastness of the Pasayten Wilderness is enough to make lovers of true wilderness jump for joy. Stretching over 50 miles east to west, and fully 20 miles north to south, this sanctuary is one of the largest designated wilderness areas in the United States.

Many long trails, most only lightly used, explore this backcountry, and although the scenery is more subdued than the rugged peaks to the west, the solitude and flowers are ample reward for the long miles. The trails connect to form huge loop trips, all major backpacking adventures. The western Pasayten loop is arguably the best in the entire wilderness, and provides a glorious sampling of what this wilderness has to offer."
