Snowfield Peak Professional Review and Guide
"Snowfield Peak is the triangularshaped apex of the sub-range of the Cascade Crest just southwest of Diablo Lake. A small but distinctive group of peaks, the sub-range contains the familiar faces of Pyramid and Colonial peaks and Paul Bunyan’s Stump, all visible from North Cascades Scenic Highway. The approach to Snowfield Peak along the Pyramid Lake Trail is steep but short. The entry into this high alpine region is therefore relatively straightforward, and there’s excellent camping along the ridge of Pyramid Peak."
