"This Snohomish County Park occupies 28 acres in an old-growth forest on Squire Creek. The summer camping and fishing are good.

Just 3 miles away in the Mount Baker–Snoqualmie National Forest, the 49,000-acre Boulder River Wilderness lies in a low-elevation valley that has never been logged. It is fairly rugged, but there are about 25 miles of trails."
