Bedal Campground Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"The Verlot Public Service Center, 11 miles east of Granite Falls, is a good place to check for local maps and get information on road conditions and campsite availability. The North and
South Forks of the Sauk River meet at this 6-acre campground. Rustic and remote, it offers access to the Glacier Peak and Henry M. Jackson Wildernesses. Large motorhomes and trailers are not recommended.

With an average annual rainfall of 140 inches, this forest has no problem staying green. You may spot mountain goats on the upper slopes, as well as dogwood, trillium, and queen’s cup on the forest floor."
