Bullion Basin to Silver Creek

Bullion Basin to Silver Creek Professional Review and Guide

"The scenery is breathtaking, the trails are quiet, and the hiking options are endless. Make sure you bring a map. Even the most experienced hikers are bound to make a wrong turn at one of the many junctions without one.

From the pullout on FR 410, head toward Bullion Basin Trail 1156 and take note of Silver Creek Trail 1192, your exit route on your right. The trail heading toward Bullion Basin is steep and dusty for the first 0.25 miles—a sign of the horsepackers who frequent this section—and crosses the road a couple of times before arriving at a clearing that looks out toward the ski area."
