Hike through a lush lowland valley, passing some of the best waterfalls to be found. Then climb to the upper trailhead on Forest Road 58 near the western boundary of the Trapper Creek Wilderness. This route offers a couple of great camping spots that are not very far from the trailhead, making it an ideal backpack for families with young children.
