Copper Butte via Marcus Trail Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Maintained by the Ferry County Back Country Horsemen, this popular trail is in excellent shape. Beginning in a thick forest of lodgepole pine, follow the trail as it crosses a tributary of the North Fork Sherman Creek—the only reliable water on this hike. Then get down to business climbing and after about 1.2 miles, break out from under the forest canopy to begin traversing Wapaloosie’s sprawling meadows."
