Red Mountain Campground Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"This rustic 2-acre campground is just about 1 mile above Cle Elum Lake, at the point where Thorp Creek empties into the Cle Elum River. The other camps in the area have more amenities, but this will serve the purpose if the others are full. It is quite popular with snow-sport enthusiasts, who are welcome to stay here (no fee, no services) until snow blocks the access road."
