North Fork Taneum Creek Loop Professional Review and Guide
"The ride highlights North Fork Taneum Trail; the climbing and descending in the wooded valley, through and around the creek, is sure to keep you soggy and smiling. It's no the only highlight, though. The direct route would be to just take Forest Service Road 3300 for 10.9 miles to the North Fork Taneum Trail, and then take the trail back. But the enjoyment is not in the destination, Grasshopper; it is in the journey. . .
A variation from the direct route puts you on the Fishhook Flat Trail, which cuts off of the road and then rejoins it after some easy bounding through woods and meadows, some tough climbing, and some steep descending. To cut the ride short by about 7 miles, you can descend the Fishhook Flat Trail to its terminus at the North Fork Taneum Trail and turn right to complete the loop."
