Chelan Lakeshore Trail

Chelan Lakeshore Trail Professional Review and Guide

"The trail can be hiked from the north or the south, though hiking from south to north is recommended because it provides more views of the mountains of the North Cascades.

For the southern trailhead, hop off the boat at Prince Creek. If instead hiking north to south, you’ll need to make arrangements to ensure the boat stops at Prince Creek to pick you up on your return."

This is a beautiful area with very few people, I will definitely return. The instructions to the trailhead are not very clear, but once there it is well worth it. In addition, there are a number of alternate trails that can either shorten or lengthen your hiking. We camped 3 days and hiked over angel staircase past Cooney Lake to loop back to the trailhead, this was the highpoint of the trip.
