"From I-5 in Vancouver, take exit 1 and head east on WA 14 for 47 miles to Carson. Turn left (north) onto the Wind River Road and drive 9 miles. Then turn right onto FR 6517. Drive 1.5 miles to FR 65 (Panther Creek Road) and turn left (north) to the campground just ahead.

The campground: Just a hair’s breadth away from the Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail, this campground in Gifford Pinchot National Forest is a nice fishing camp on Panther Creek."
