Pacific Crest Trail, Columbia River to Wind River Road

Pacific Crest Trail, Columbia River to Wind River Road Professional Review and Guide

"Hike from the lowest point on the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT), climbing across two ridges. Then descend down into the Wind River Valley, with countless views of the Columbia River Gorge and the mountain peaks of the southern Washington and northern Oregon Cascades along the way.

Most Pacific Crest Trail hikers are dropped off at a trailhead to start their hike and picked up at the end of it by someone else. If you are planning to leave a vehicle at the trailhead where you will start this hike, it would be best, because of the limited parking at the Bridge of the Gods trailhead, to use the alternate start at Bonneville trailhead described in Options."
