Snoqualmie Valley Trail

Snoqualmie Valley Trail Professional Review and Guide

"The Snoqualmie Valley Trail is a lovely jaunt of 11.3 miles each way, but it can be extended or shortened as schedule and fitness allow. For a ride that provides virtually no physical and technical challenges, it can be turned into a vigorous workout with a quick cadence.

The nearly all-gravel rail-trail route gently climbs about 400 feet on the 11.3-mile journey to the power-generating, 270-foot rush of Snoqualmie Falls. The trail passes through some residential areas, farmland, and tree-lined logging land, giving it a pastoral feeling. Being in the midst of civilization, though, it gets a lot of use from jogger, equestrians, and dog walkers. Excellent family or social cruise; good winter workout when area singletracks are too wet."

Fairly flat and easy trail for a leasure ride or building endurance. Plenty of shaded areas for those hot sunny day rides. If it was just a little further from away from the Duvall-Carnation road or it would have gotten 5 stars.
