Mount Jupiter

Mount Jupiter Professional Review and Guide

"This is a long, bone-dry, and at times steep trek to a former fire lookout site atop Mount Jupiter—but the views are worth the effort! Feast on them, from prominent eastern-slope Olympic peaks to Hood Canal, Mount Rainier, and a procession of Cascade peaks. Situated between Mount Constance and the Brothers, Jupiter also provides an eagle’s-eye perspective of the Duckabush and Dosewallips valleys, two of the Olympics’ great green portals into its hinterlands.

Road subject to changes and closures due to logging on adjacent private lands. Road closed for wildlife management mid-Oct–May 1. Do not park in front of the gate."
