Historic, single-story, 24 x 20-foot, peeled-log cabin with kitchen, living room, bedroom, open porch, and pyramidal cedar-shake roof. It is sturdy and honest, with an appealing gray hue, as though proud of its venerable age. AROUND YOU The Olympic Peninsula, Hood Canal, Brothers Wilderness, and Olympic National Park. From the Duckabush River Road there are lovely views of Brothers Wilderness and the Duckabush River, which may soon be designated a Wild and Scenic River. It is well known for its excellent fishing holes. Ranger Hole Trail (824) takes off from beside the cabin and is an easy hike down to the Duckabush River, less than one mile away, where the rangers fished and got their household water.
