Central Hood Canal: Quilcene and Dabob Bays, Dosewallips, Pleasant Harbor, Triton Cove, and Mike’s Beach Resort Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"With the Olympic Mountain Range towering overhead, this part of Hood Canal is the meeting place of land and sea. When you can take your eyes off this gorgeous backdrop, there is plenty to look at up close: rich estuaries, lagoons, and a tideland that is renowned for its oysters.
Be careful where you collect them; most tidelands in Hood Canal are private. Check Department of Fisheries regulations for the current season if you’re interested in finding oysters. These trips will focus on the west side of Hood Canal along US Highway 101."
