"The Chamna Natural Preserve is a new parkland near the confluence of the Yakima and Columbia Rivers and offers hiking through a multitude of habitats ranging from grasslands to riparian wooded areas. It is tucked away on the north side of about 2 miles of the Yakima River at the Yakima Delta, with the river on one side and freeways on the other. Still, the wildlife will tell you it’s all okay and they love it here—they appreciate the work being done to preserve the area!" Read more
