Paradise Glacier Trail

Paradise Glacier Trail Professional Review and Guide

"A short day hike over a snowfield brings you to the foot of a small glacier. The ice caves that once drew many to this trail have melted with the general increase in global temperature. This means a less sensational hike, but it also means fewer passersby and the same spectacular view as before.

Start hiking along the Skyline Trail in the northwestern corner of the parking lot; the trailhead is well marked. Proceed to the right (east), counterclockwise along the loop. Many trails congest this area, but just follow the Skyline Trail signs east-bound and you will reach your destination."
