Panorama Point Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"There are plenty of reasons for hiking around Mount Rainier’s Paradise area, but quiet and solitude are not among them. All the trails are popular all spring and summer long. On the other hand, some of the most amazing displays of wildflowers can be seen at Paradise.

Of the wildflowers at Paradise, John Muir wrote in 1889, “the most luxuriant and the most extravagantly beautiful of all the alpine gardens I ever beheld in all my mountain- top wanderings.”"
