Wishkah River

Wishkah River Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"The Wishkah River flows into the Chehalis River in the latter’s last mile, virtually at the point where the Chehalis gives up its ghost to Grays Harbor. One of several tidal rivers in the Grays Harbor area, the Wishkah offers exploratory paddle trips on different branches, providing different insights into the area.

The Wishkah, which circles through northeastern Aberdeen, flows out of the timbered forestlands from an area that hosts two units of the Olympic Wildlife Area. It is a slow, narrow river, ideal for beginning paddlers."
