Hiked this trail on 06/16/18 - The trail-head is located about 4/10ths of a mile below the description in the three guidebooks (2013 - Best day Hikes in Vermont; 2014 - Hiking the Green Mountains; 2014 - AMC's Outdoors with Kids). The parking is now on the right hand side of the road heading in from Rte 5. There is room for many more cars than the previous location. As a result of the relocation, the trail is considerably longer (according to those who have hiked there previously). The red trail no longer exists and with the relocation the white trail has also been relocated. It is now a well marked, blue blazed trail. The blue trail eventually catches up to the old white trail (now painted over with blue blazes to be consistent). The reward for doing this trail still remains the same as described and if you're lucky like we were, you'll get a chance to see Eagles floating their way around the mountain!
