"Follow paths and forest roads that meander through farmland and meadows, leading to small mountains with excellent views and backcountry cabins to spend the night. Mount Antone is but one excellent destination at Merck Forest and Farmland Center (MFFC).

MFFC also serves as a true, working farm and forest. During
your visit to this “land of many uses” you may see any number of activities: timber harvesting, maple sugaring, wildlife habitat restoration and preservation, fruit and vegetable production, livestock production—and of course, recreation. Whether you’re exploring MFFC’s sustainable farm operation or backpacking through the heart of this 3,100-acre site, you will be delighted to learn about the history of this special place, see amazing vistas, and behold a prime example of successful land that is managed for multiple uses."
