Appalachian Trail is a hiking, biking, and horse trail in Windsor County and Rutland County, Vermont. It is within Green Mountain National Forest. It is 36.0 miles long and begins at 460 feet altitude. Traveling the entire trail is 67.4 miles with a total elevation gain of 21,278 feet. The Stony Brook Shelter shelter, Dana Hill (elevation 1,522 feet), and the Kent Pond parking can be seen along the trail. This trail connects with the following: Long Trail, Deer Leap Trail (Blue) and Sherburne Pass Trail (Blue).
