Arrowhead Mountain Lake

Arrowhead Mountain Lake Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"We prefer to paddle the marshy northern section and the gorge-like central section of this elongated reservoir. Osprey nest here, and you might see beaver, otter, and mink.

As of summer 2000, road-signing had not reached this area; road names come from DeLorme’s atlas. From the junction of Routes 15 and 16 east of Hardwick, go north on Route 16 for about 8.6 miles; turn left onto Taylor Road (unsigned). From here, it is 3.6 miles to the Long Pond access road."
