Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Situated at the base of Big Walker Mountain and next to Big Walker Scenic Byway in GWJ National Forests. Close to the Appalachian Trail, Stony Fork provides a range of hiking trails from which to select. Stony Fork Nature Trail is 1 mile, or you can take the more strenuous Seven Sisters Trail that goes from the campground area up Little Walker Mountain.

One fork of Stony Fork Creek goes through the campground and provides trout fishing. Some of the campsites are accessible to people with disabilities."
