Scott's Run Falls

Scott's Run Falls Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Just downriver from Great Falls, Scott's Run Falls drops off a granite ledge just before entering the Potomac. It's a pretty little cascade in a seemingly unlikely place."

The trails are easily navigable with lots of maps at each trail head. The overlook is small but beautiful. The waterfalls were pretty if you can stop looking at the trash all around you which was so sad to see. Some good things about this trail are the ease of access lots of parking (3lots) and you can bring dogs on a leash. Good trail for families with kids and experienced hikers who want to take the harder trail loops.
