Williamsville Loop

Williamsville Loop Professional Review and Guide

"This ride's general location is 40 miles west of Staunton straddling the Bath and Highland County boundary. Scenery includes expansive pastures at the foot of mountain ridges with rushing streams.

This loop on gravel and hard-surface roads offers an interesting look at Highland County, also called Little Switzerland, on some of the flattest terrain you're likely to find in this county of 2,635 souls. Besides the 21-mile distance, the only feature that would impede any rider is the 1.5-mile climb across Bullpasture Mt. You'll encircle Bullpasture Mountain on little-traveled hard surface and dirt state roads that hug low-lying farms at the foot of the mountain."
