"his campground, built as a CCC project, is situated in the GWJ National Forests and is managed by the USDA Forest Service. Gas-powered boats not permitted on lake. Choose from several hiking trails, some leading to Bald Knob, and others leading around the lake and branching out into the forest area and up to the Blue Ridge Parkway.
