Mary's Rock

Mary's Rock Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Get your pulse racing on this climb to the top of the eighth-highest peak in Shenandoah. Stunning 360-degree views and rock-scrambling opportunities await you at the top. The views from Mary’s Rock of the park and the surrounding valleys earn this hike its popularity. At 3,487 feet, this is the eighth-highest point in the park.

From the Meadow Spring Parking Area, cross Skyline Drive and head left up the path. One of the park’s ubiquitous concrete trail markers indicates the trailhead. Turn right here onto blue-blazed Meadow Spring Trail, and start with a steady climb."
