Signal Knob/ Richardson Knob Trail (orange) Professional Reviews and Guides
"You’ll feel much farther away from Washington, DC, much farther
than 90 minutes, as you climb for stunning views from Signal Knob."
--Jennifer Adach and Michael R. Martin, AMC's Best Day Hikes in The Shenandoah Valley (Appalachian Mountain Club Books).
"This ride is extremely technical and also pretty hard. Expect to portage your bike across a number of clifftop boulder fields. The fabulous views and exceptional trail riding in between make it all very worthwhile. Highlights: Boulder fields, clifftop views, portaging, fun single track"
