Glade Stream Valley Park

Glade Stream Valley Park Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"The turquoise Trail is a 4.7-mile paved recreation trail in Glade Stream Valley Park that runs through Reston from South Lakes Village Center to Hunter Woods Village Center. The Reston Association Pedestrian and Bicycling Advisory Committee created the trail markings. Reston has five paved and natural-surface pathways winding 55 miles through its suburban neighborhoods. The Turquoise Trail is the longest of these trails and offers natural scenery as well as a connection to neighborhoods, recreation areas, and shopping centers. The trail provides an urban escape and is mostly flat and shady.

On a quiet day, you may see wildlife such as birds, deer, muskrat, fox, and other critters. As this is an out-and-back hike, you can turn around at any point and retrace your steps back to your car."
