Holliday Lake State Park

Holliday Lake State Park Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"The campground is located in Buckingham-Appomattox State Forest on 555 acres. The park’s lake covers 150 acres and is stocked with a range of fish, including largemouth bass, perch, and bluegills, and a stream offers trout fishing. A permit is required.

There are also five different trails from which to choose to explore the forest and its variations, which include wetlands, hardwood, and pine areas. One of the trails, the Carter Taylor Trail, is 12 miles long and great for biking, hiking, or riding a horse, while the Lakeshore Trail covers more than 6 miles of ground in its loop about the lake."
