Raven Cliff Recreation Area Campground Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"Located in the eastern section of Mount Rogers National Recreation Area, this site is named for the 200-foot-tall sandstone cliff located here. This is a remote campground with a couple of nice draws: It is remote and you will probably not have to fight off any crowds, and you can bring a tube and go tubing in Cripple Creek during the warmer summer months.
You can also fish for smallmouth bass, or trout, which are stocked in the spring in Cripple Creek. You will need a valid Virginia state fishing license. Campsites are first come, first served. Horse trailers are allowed, and there is access to the Virginia Highland Horse Trail. RV friendly up to 32 feet."
