Sandspring Mountain Trail

Sandspring Mountain Trail Professional Review and Guide

"This ride's general location is 15 miles west of Harrisonburg. Scenery includes super views of neighboring peaks on the ascent of Sandspring Mountain. The three-mile climb up Forest Service Trail 423 is described as a "long pull."

However, most of us would call it a hell of a climb and no piece of cake. Intermediate and better riders or novices with very good stamina should give this one a try, it will allow them to alternately test their climbing and downhill skills."
