Four Mile Run Trail

Four Mile Run Trail is a hiking, biking, and horse trail in Arlington, Virginia. It is within Barcroft Park, Jennie Dean Park, Allie S. Freed Park, GlenCarlyn Park, Shirlington Park, Bluemont Park, and Glen Carlyn Park. It is 5.1 miles long and begins at 249 feet altitude. Traveling the entire trail is 0.7 miles with a total elevation gain of 33 feet. Near the trailhead there are restrooms. Bluemont Junction, Ground Hog, The Arlington Mill, Sparrow Pond Overlook, Barcroft, and other information boards, Park Ranger Station and another restrooms, the Madison Manor Picnic Shelter shelter, the Bluemont Park Ranger Station ranger station, and the Washington & Old Dominion Caboose tourism can be seen along the trail. There are also a tree row, a bicycle parking, and parkings along the trail. The trail ends near the Brandymore Castle, Glencarlyn Station, and Turkey information boards. There is also a wood near the end of the trail. This trail connects with the following: Bluemont Junction Trail, Grass Trail and Washington & Old Dominion Trail.
