Roaring Run Falls Professional Review and Guide
"Roaring Run Falls is part of a recreation area in Jefferson National Forest. Hiking trails lead to the 30-foot waterfall and the ruins of an 1838 iron furnace. There is year-round fishing in the lakes, river, and streams, including a stretch on Roaring Run that has special regulations (including the type of lure that can be used and size and amount limits). Roaring Run Trail is a designated National Recreation Trail, and the U.S. Forest Service keeps the popular path in good shape."
