Morris Hill Campgrounds Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"This Forest Service campground is located in George Washington and Jefferson National Forests on a ridge just south of Lake Moomaw, so there is access to the lake for boating, swimming, and fishing.

Jackson River and Back Creek are great for fly fishermen looking to cast a line and catch trout. Also available are bass and crappie. You must have a Virginia state license to fish in the lake, river, or creek. Choose from two trails, one for biking and the other with more than 3 miles of hiking."
