Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"Located in GWJ National Forests, this park is run by the Forest Service. It features a warm water, man-made lake that covers more than 45 acres. The lake is stocked with rainbow trout, blue gill, catfish, crappie, bass, and northern pike. Electric boats are allowed, but no gas-powered boats are permitted.
There are two fishing piers that are accessible to people with disabilities, as well as a trail that is accessible on the northern section of the shoreline. Take a brief hike to see Kitchen Rock, a unique geological formation. There are also 3 miles of trail that run along the shoreline available for hiking. The park is located next to High Knob Recreation Area. The campground is RV friendly."
